Lately, I have been so caught up in life I've had no time for myself, not even to think straight.
What's that dreaded word -- I've become a work-a-holic and it seems like I love it. Poohey!
Three years ago, while still in grad school I was plenty busy with work and trying to make sense of radom theories. But I always had time to do the things I loved. In other words, I could bum around some and it wouldn't hurt. I'd make a B instead of an A. The whole world knew how much I loved grades.
Not anymore.
Somehow for me having a full time job is far more hectic and troublesome. Translate into Cannot seem to find time for onself.
And then there's others who are unaffected by any of it and probably watching a chimp eat a banana rather than doing actual work.
Yeah actual work, that's another debate.
I realized it's time for some serious damage control.
1. Work is work. Learn how to say NO.
2. Always keep my toes painted.
3. Eat a lot of mangoes. Yumm.
4. Listen to some good ol' music, enjoy my speakers.
5. Appreciate and spend more time with my loved one's.
6. Return to kickboxing again and soon graduate to some form martial art. It never hurts to know you can kick ass when required.
Lastly, stay away from bad vibes from people and surround myself with fun people who I trust.
